ADHD & Anxiety

Growing up with undiagnosed ADHD was a significant source of anxiety for me. I was constantly told to stop moving, focus, and listen, which made me feel misunderstood. Thankfully, I discovered dance, which gave me a reason to strive harder in school. I had to learn how to study in a way that worked for me. Although I pursued a career as a dental hygienist, I quickly realized that the repetitive nature of the job wasn’t fulfilling. Now, I’m dedicated to teaching children yoga, which has helped me become more mindful and in tune with my feelings. My goal is to provide children with an outlet to navigate life’s challenges, just as I found mine through dance and mindfulness.

Kids are not always Zen🧘‍♀️
